The best trail running races
At the beginning of the season every trail running lover organizes his running season, deciding which races to take part in. And you? You just threw yourself on this wonderful discipline that allows you to run surrounded by beautiful landscapes and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Of course fatigue and lactic acid are faithful travel companions, but it is hard to find a discipline that allows you to run immersed in absolute silence, admiring a different scenario every time.
We asked Omar Cai, the Bivo Team champion, for some advice on the competitions to be enrolled for 2019. Of course, not everyone will be able to accompany him on the adventure of the 17th edition of the Sommet Mondial du Trail, one of the most spectacular and tough races. Europe with its 145 km and 9100 meters of positive difference in height. Better to start with a softer path. We will give you some suggestions.
The first race we recommend is definitely the Grande Trekking di Carrara. It starts from the beach of Marina di Carrara on May 26 and arrives at the peak of Monte Sagro along the 32km of a route designed with care and precision by the volunteers of the Grande Trekking asd. A race that is unique just to leave among the umbrellas of the Carrarina beach to get to the summit of the Apuane.

But May is distant. So here are some other races that our Omar has advised us for those who like him to ride in the high mountains.
The Cortina Snow Run is organized in Cortina from the Cortina d’Ampezzo section on 23 February. In this race, of which we at Bivo are partners, two distances are envisaged: the Trail and the Mini Trail. Particularity of the race? When will it happen again to run for respectively 17 and 9.5km exclusively on snow and at night?

Are you looking for a race for March? The Te ‘Bota Team organizes in the trails that are often walked by our Omar, the Ultra Trail Casola Valsenio on March 10, providing three distances: 45km, 20km and even the 10km non-competitive.
In April there is an appointment to which we in Bivo particularly care: Ultra Trail Via degli Dei. We decided to sponsor this event because it is the only one of its kind in which the foods of each refreshment point are designed and calibrated by specialized nutritionists so that members can complete the race as efficiently as possible. Here too there are various distances but for all information we invite you to visit: https://www.ultratrailviadeglidei.com/
Until May of km to go we have suggested enough but the races organized around Italy are really a lot. And you? Are you organizing a race and looking for a sponsor or partner for your event? Write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
